SDHR offer 19 training programmes for 1042 of Sharjah employees

22 July, 2020

The Sharjah Directorate of Human Resources (SDHR) utilised the previous period of remote working by offering a variety of training and development programmes for Sharjah Government employees, to serve its strategic vision and goals.
These programmes included software trainings, vocational diplomas, qualification courses, on the job workshops, and awareness sessions in various domains such as strategic planning, performance evaluation, and information technology, amongst others.

All training programmes have been included in the e-training management system, through which training nominations will be received, as the system enables training officials in all Sharjah entities to view the training plan via the system, then determine the number of employees who will be recruited in these programmes, after relying on employees in the workplace to apply for compatible programmes in their respective job fields.

During the remote working period, 1042 Sharjah Government employees in the city of Sharjah, the Central Region, and the Eastern Region were able to benefit of the programme that offered 19 e-training courses.

Commenting on this, Dr. Tariq Sultan bin Khadem, Member of the Sharjah Executive Council and Chairman of the Sharjah Human Resources Directorate (SHRD) confirmed that the training strategy of the directorate comes in line with the vision and directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, that puts the human element first and seek to develop and foster the human resources of the emirate.

He also stressed that training should continue despite all conditions as developing the human skills and nurturing the creative ideas is the key to overcoming the challenges, institutional of personal.
